On Friday November 17th John Barnes as Master was pleased to welcome around twenty Allied Masons to St.Georges Council. In the absence of a Candidate two demonstration ceremonies were too take place. |

Members and Guests |
The members and guests present were able not only to witness the St.Lawrence Ceremony conducted, also to witness the degree of a Knight of Constantinople. |
The Degree of St.Lawrence the Martyr was conducted by John Cunliffe, assisted by Martin Stokes; the Lecture was presented by the Council Secretary John Bicknell. |

Following that ceremony, Arthur Robinson was asked to occupy the Master’s Chair and undertake the Ceremony of a Knight of Constantinople, Arthur was assisted by Terry Dickinson, who also presented the Lecture in an excellent manner. |
Mike Dalley a guest and member of Lawrence Council acted as Candidate. |
Before the meeting closed the District Prefect Paul Snape congratulated and thanked everyone who had taken part in both Ceremonies for the high standard of their work, he also thanked Brian Flynn and Mike Dalley for acting as Candidates, not forgetting the other guests Richard Higson and David Hooley for their assistance. |

John Barnes makes a special Presentation |
In reply W.Bro. John Cunliffe thanked the District Grand Prefect for his generous comments, and then he thanked everyone present for their support and encouragement. |
In conclusion John then invited the District Grand Prefect and all present to join him at dinner, which was a three-course meal, the last course being a low-calorie Sticky Toffee Pudding. |
